Vibration Machines Review : power plate my3, Frequency 30, Power plate my5, Frequency 50

Vibration Machines Review : power plate my3, Frequency 30, Power plate my5, Frequency 50

Reviews and comparisons:

Vibration Machines! As seen on The Tyra Banks Show and The Doctors TV Show. Madonna, Claudia Schiffer, Elle Macpherson and Kylie Minogue swear by these machines!
The plate uses vibrations to make muscles contract and relax up to 50 times a second. Along with a calorie-controlled diet, the European Congress on Obesity in Amsterdam found it to be 2.7 times more successful at achieving long-term weight loss than conventional workouts.
Compare Vibration Machines
We are going to compare Vibration Machines that are available for purchase in Canada. There are two classes of Vibration Machines: Residential and Commercial / High End Residential. For each class, we will take a look at three popular brands.

Different Types of Vibration Machines
Tri-Planar Vibration
Oscillation
WHICH ONE IS BETTER?
Tri-Planar machines do not have a center fulcrum point like the oscillating machines they do not wobble from side to side. The plate of a tri-planar machine moves up and down, side to side and front to back all at the same time. This three dimensional range of movement is where the term tri-planar originates. These machines typically have lower amplitudes but higher frequencies. The differences in the two types allow the tri-planar machines to be more effective at increasing muscle strength, increasing bone density and for detoxification.

What is Vibration Training?
Vibration training has been around since the 1960’s. The actual technical term that physiologists use to explain “cyclical vibrations” that are used to better the state of human joints by improving their flexibility relatively fast is Rhythmic Neuromuscular Stimulation, or RNS.
Benefits of a Vibration Machine
Increase Energy Levels
Increase Flexibility
Raise Metabolism
Reduce Cortisol Levels (Stress Hormone)
Induce Lipolysis (breakdown of fat)
Increase Range Of Motion
Reduce Back And Joint Pain
Build Muscle Strength
Rehabilitate Injuries
Increase Blood Oxygenation
Elevate Serotonin Levels
Improve Lymphatic Flow
Improve Circulation
Build Bone Mass And Bone Mineral Density
Visibly Improve Body Tone
Strengthen Core Muscles
Elevate Human Growth Hormone Levels
Increase Balance
Increase Continence
Wash Out Lactic Acid and Acidic Waste Products
Decrease Blood Pressure
Stimulate Digestion
History of Vibration Technology
The Russian space program developed the Vibration plate to contra negative side effects after a prolonged trip in outer space. The muscle tissue of the cosmonauts had deteriorated considerably, causing a reduction in bone density (osteoporosis). The platform generates vibrations at selected Hz, which is then transferred to the body, causing the muscles to contract in a reflex, tremendously stimulating blood circulation.
Muscle Strengthening
What helps one move is the formation of our bones. The system responsible for all our muscles is the central nervous system. Vibration provides pulses which make every one of your muscles respond in a certain way to a selected frequency.
Say you choose the setting of the vibration plate that pulses at 40Hz. This means that your muscles will be forced to contract about 40 times in each second, or, in other words, 2400 times each minute! These incredibly fast movements allow your body to spend enormous amounts of heat and energy.
We all know that burning energy helps with weight loss. This fitness program also helps to increase your muscle strength and provide a clear definition for your muscles, as well as improve your overall athletic capabilities.
Increased Blood Circulation and Improves Flexibility
When muscles are trained through vibration exercise, they do not only get stronger, but also improve their flexibility and increase their mobility.
When you use vibration exercises, the muscle tissues in your body warm up and thus increase circulation of blood. This ensures that the muscles get more flexible. When your muscles receive highly oxygenated blood, the time one requires to stretch to obtain a certain level of flexibility is drastically decreased.
Having a high level of oxygen in your blood is beneficial in more than one way. It also helps detoxify your body in a very efficient way. All the negative substances that accumulate in your body and cause it to ache are more easily removed. In terms of flexibility, it means that the pain will occur at a later time when stretching, helping achieve much better results.
Performance:
In just 10 minutes a day you can greatly enhance your physical performance by training on a vibration machine. few studies were conducted and proved that just 10 minutes of effortless vibration training had similar results on athlete’s bodies as over 100 leg presses with weight load of more than twice the body mass! You could complete about 200 drop jumps from a height of over 50cm, or achieve same results from standing on a vibrating platform for about 10 minutes.
Boosts hormonal profile:
Helps boost hormone level in brain by intensifying the signals that are obtained by the central nervous system, Makes your brain stronger etc.
Rehabilitation:
Helps with Sports injuries, strengthens muscles, improves balance
Heart Conditions:
Studies had shown that vibration training could be of use to help patients rehabilitate after a stroke. Patients with heart conditions suffer from decreased mobility and balance difficulties.

What is a Kettlebell?
The kettlebell or girya (Russian: гиря) is a cast iron weight looking somewhat like a cannonball with a single looped handle on top. Although this piece of strength training equipment has been around for decades, only recently has it caught the attention of mainstream athletes. While today, there are sizes that range from 5 lbs to 175 lbs, the traditional Russian kettlebell is usually one which weighs 1 Pood (roughly 16kg / 35lbs). Kettlebells are a favorite item in many gyms, along with some other basic training items like weighted medicine balls, pull up bars, jump ropes and lots of free weights.
What's So Great About Kettlebells?
The reason for the boost in kettlebell training it that it gets back to basic training that requires functional, whole body fitness. Kettlebells require an athlete to focus on whole-body conditioning because lifting and controlling a kettlebell forces the entire body, and specifically the core, to contract as a group, building both strength and stability at the same time. Kettlebell workouts engage multiple muscle groups at once. In this way, they are a great option for getting a whole body workout in a short time.
Unlike traditional dumbbells, the kettlebell's center of mass is extended beyond the hand. This allows for swing movements not possible with traditional dumbbells. Because more muscle groups are utilized in the swinging and movement of a kettlebell than during the lifting of dumbbells, a kettlebell workout is said to be more effective, and yields better results in less time.
Because the center of mass on a kettlebell "swings", micro-muscles are needed to balance a kettlebell, more so than a dumbbell. The existence of a handle allows for "release moves" which are not available to a dumbbell.
Kettlebell Training
If you want to maximize a kettlebell workout, get a good instructional DVD such as the KettleWorx series or Kettlebell Bootcamp.

Kettlebell Safety
It's important to start slow and get some training when using kettlebells. When used incorrectly, kettlebells can cause some nasty injuries. Proper use of this cast iron weight requires strength, coordination and lots of practice with a light weight before increasing weight. Each kettlebell exercise involves multiple joints and many muscle groups working together. It takes most athletes time to adjust to these new movement patterns that are often different than traditional weight-lifting moves. To master these movement patterns requires guidance, instruction and patience. After the basics are mastered, increasing the weight provides a strength workout unmatched by machines or even dumbbells.
The biggest mistake beginners make is lifting too heavy a kettlebell before they can control it. This can result in serious injuries to the joints, and especially the neck, back and spine.
